Customers
Orderly is used by bars, hotels, burger shops, choma bays, cafes and pork centres across Nairobi and Kiambu. The spread matters: it shows the product fits several distinct restaurant types rather than one narrow niche.
Pilot results
- 13 food businesses piloted Orderly before launch; 23 run on it today.
- Delivery orders out the door in 10 minutes instead of 40 (75% faster).
- 80% less stock loss.
- One client grew from 1 delivery bike to 5.
Product
Live today across three plans and Enterprise: point of sale with M-Pesa and Paystack, kitchen display, table and order management, inventory and recipe costing, staff controls, own-brand online ordering, delivery coordination with riders, reporting, and KRA eTIMS compliance, free on every plan. 31 features are in production, including an assistant owners can ask in plain words, by text or voice.
Distribution
Rather than paid acquisition, Orderly sells through commissioned agents - accountants, IT consultants and resellers who already have relationships with restaurant owners. Agents earn 15 percent on every client they bring, plus commission on hardware, tracked in a built-in affiliate dashboard. Because agents also provide first-line support, the model scales customer service alongside sales.
Infrastructure
Cloud-hosted with isolated per-tenant deployments, sold nationwide. Hardware is supplied alongside software, including own-brand devices, which adds margin and removes a practical barrier to adoption.
