Four reasons riders join us

[01]

The delivery fee is yours

The customer pays the delivery fee and it goes to you. Orderly takes no percentage of it.

Several restaurants, one area

You deliver for a group of restaurants close together, so you spend more time delivering and less time riding empty.

What you need to sign up

These are the standard requirements for delivery riders in Kenya, and they are what we will ask you for:

  • You are 18 or older
  • A valid National ID
  • A valid driving licence or rider card
  • A Certificate of Good Conduct from the DCI
  • Valid insurance for your motorbike
  • A smartphone that can run the rider app

A motorbike is best for speed and range. In dense areas like the CBD a bicycle can work for short trips.

Where we are riding now

Our rider network currently covers Nairobi CBD, Kilimani, Westlands and Parklands. We are adding areas as more restaurants come on board. If you are outside these areas, still apply - we keep applications on file and contact riders first when we open a new area.

About earnings

What you earn depends on your hours, your area and how many deliveries you take. For context, riders working full time on the major Kenyan delivery platforms commonly report earning in the region of KES 25,000 to 40,000 a month. We cannot promise you a figure - anyone who does is guessing - but the delivery fee on each trip is yours, and riders who work the busy lunch and evening windows in a dense area do best.
